Learning for Life

Young people relate instinctively to technology and if learning can be delivered to them at the right time, in the right place, by the right teachers, it will engage and capture their imagination. Purple Club does exactly that.
A five year study by the University of London’s Institute of Education found that inspirational teachers and one-to-one learning is the key.

Now, with the Government’s commitment to deliver learning to children on day 6 of exclusion, Purple Club is more relevant than ever.

Our Advanced Skills Teachers, together with your local teachers can deliver inspirational, tailor made lessons that embody the national curriculum requirements of Rich Lessons, Accelerated Learning and Functional Skills.

These lessons are based around the accelerated learning cycle and are driven by the Every Child Matters agenda to create life long learners with skills that are both functional and transferable.

The new national curriculum from 2009 will require a ‘stage not age’ attainment of skills in English, Mathematics, Science and ICT. We offer a strong focus on using and applying ‘rich lessons’.

To support that, carefully selected young adult students provide mentoring via messaging and email within our safe environment.
